Post Eviction Mayhem & HoH
The votes didn't go Cody and Jessicas way. Not at all. Jessica is pissed that Christmas called her out on live TV when she didn't have a platform to defend herself. Its gotta be weird to be so mad at Christmas. Well, I guess Jewish people always harbor some resentment.
Everyone is rigging the HoH competition for Paul. They are handing him tickets, so he can get more chances at rolling the ball, so he can perfect it and win. Not a bad strategy. Being HoH right now puts a huge target on your back. Let Jessica, Josh, and Paul fight it out and take shots at each other while you stay in the background, sounds good to me.
Kevin gets it.
Paul wins and gives one hell of a celebration for a guy who the game was rigged for.
Post HoH Comp
Kevin lies right to Cody's face about voting for Jillian instead of Christmas. His reasoning for switching... Christmas makes him breakfast in the morning. God damn Kevin, I'm really starting to like you!
Josh goes to make peace with Cody and Cody is... well... no way else to say this... Cody is incredibly, incredibly mean to him. Starting to think this Cody guy may be the asshole we all suspected huh?
Jessica and Cody double down and really tear Josh apart with some 1960's sexist bullying. Josh is on the sensitive side, no doubt about that but I'd much rather be a little sensitive than be a lot of asshole.
Its fantastic that Paul has the couples and Dominique to get Cody out of the game. It's the same exact crew Cody had last week when he tried to get Paul out. Balance!
Time to see Pauls HoH room! Oh wait, Jessica doesn't want to see it though. As much as I don't like Jessica right now I'm with her on this one. I don't give a fuuuucccckkkk about peoples rooms. It's a segment of nonsense and fluff. Same with when the Power of Veto winner goes and looks at pictures for thirty seconds. Show me some game play and real interactions, not staged nonsense.
Paul is upfront with his strategy. He wants to put Matt and Raven on the block as pawns. That way they have a great chance at winning the power of veto and back dooring Cody. Matt and Raven are like, wait, woah now, us?!
Den of Temptation
America chooses Christmas.
She now gets to put herself up for the power of veto competition as a replacement whenever she wants.
She also gets to curse three people. She curses Jason, Cody and Jessica.
Paul agrees, or understands that putting Matt and Raven up is bad for his game. He needs that groups trust right now and that plan won't help build it.
His next plan is to put Alex and Josh on the block as pawns. Alex understands and is willing to go along.
Josh agrees to go up as well. Plan is in motion. *gavel*
Ramses throws a kink in the plan when he nominates himself. Yawn. That will most likely change nothing.
Everything seemed to go to plan this week. I understand Matt and Raven not wanting to be pawns because they have the numbers already anyway. I also understand why Josh and Alex being pawns helps them out.
Kevin is a shooting star. I don't like his diary rooms when he's saying forced and canned old man stuff like mispronouncing emojis and all that nonsense. But his genuine interactions with the house guests have been really pleasant. He's playing the, 'I don't really know what's going on card, I'm just old' pretty well. He had me fooled until he switched his vote and then straight up lied about it. Alright, Kevin, you're here to actually play the game! Excited to dive into that.
Whenever the entire house is against one person it's usually somewhat easy for them to stay. Eventually someone will get the idea, well everyone hates him anyway, he's never going to last, let's get this person out right now while we can. That exact thought process saved Vanessa for like four weeks straight two seasons ago. The difference here is Cody doesn't have it in him to swallow his pride and make deals with people. He's just going to sit there angrily and think winning POV is his only chance to stay.
Everyone loves Paul. I don't see that lasting but it's pretty wild how much power and faith he has right now.
I like the Yankees, watching TV shows and talking about stuff.
